The Pink Manifesto -The color pink in my art

The association of the color pink to girlhood and because of that to silly things made me think about my own relationship to girlhood and the color pink. I observed this trough my own experiences, artistic work and contemporary society. Considering the role of the color pink in history I discovered new gender related meanings in the color pink; in art history, political and feminist movements and popular culture. In these paintings I show the world like how I experience it as a girl.
