Vera Haanpää (born in 1999) is an artist living and working in Helsinki.
I'm a painter and I work with acrylics and I also make drawings using oil pastels. Sometimes I combine these two mediums and I draw with oil pastels onto my paintings.
My works are abstract- though you can see nature and landscapes in them. Strong use of colors, making big prints and expressiveness are the main features of my works. My color palette is versatile and it contains usually the hues of red, yellow and pink, mixed colors and contrasts between complementary colors. I love colors and for me using them brings happiness and a feeling of freedom.
